The Challenge.

Costa is the UK's No.1 coffee shop chain, and No.2 globally. We won a pitch to adapt a range of POS materials for an important international expansion plan.

It was our job to take the ideas their UK creative agency developed, transcreate them for an international audience, and finally produce the actual campaign materials.

The Solution.

Early on in the creative development process, Costa used our Global Market Insight service to analyse how the suggested big ideas would engage with audiences.

As the project developed, our Transcreation experts made sure everything spoke to individual market's sensibilities without diluting the creative idea.

Then, our international studio produced all the print layouts following Costa's brand guidelines.

The Result.

In just two months, we delivered two POS campaigns for Costa's France and Arabic region. Costa's first foray into mainland Europe quickly became a multi-channel market entry and now includes the new Costa Express Marlow machine - Costa's self-serve coffee bars.

We've also transcreated and produced a Costa Express interactive brochure for their first European targets: Denmark, Germany, Poland and France.
